How We Help You

Real Stories from Real People

Mark

Private Landlord

Heard how we helped Mark earn £3,500 to renew his tenancy? - Mark, facing a tenancy renewal and looking to retain his tenants for two more years, was at a crossraods.

His tenants couldn't afford a proposed rent increase, and Mark was uncertain about his next move. We reached out to him, ensuring the council would cover the difference between current rent and market rate. This intervention resulted in an additional £3,500 for Mark and a renewed 12-month lease for his tenants.

Latoya

Private landlord

We helped Latoya earn £9,000. Here's what happened. Latoya is the landlord of a three-room property in Wandsworth Borough, where rents had surged. Faced with rising costs, Latoya was torn between increasing the rent or evicting her tenants.

To avoid homelessness, we negotiated with the local council, securing a one-off payment to Latoya for renewing the tenancies. This resulted in three extended tenancy agreements for two years, providing stability for the tenants and fair compensation for Latoya.

S. Property Service

Letting Agent

We helped S. Property Services renew 2 contracts and earn £8,000. The letting agents had two expiring tenancies with two families they wished to renew but knew the tenants wouldn't be able to keep up with the rising rent levels.

S. Property Services were reluctant to serve Section 21 notices to these good tenants. We intervened, gettting the council to cover the difference between the current and market rent, renewing two contracts and preventing homelessness.

Nicky

Private Landlord

Nicky, a client of ours, was facing financial struggles due to increased mortgage interest rates, which led to her losing money every month and even missing his direct debit payments. We could relate to her pain.

Her situation changed when we evaluated her periodic tenancies and identified they were due for a renewal. We informed her the council could pay a grant for each of her tenancies, providing much-needed relief to her financial situation without burdening her tenants. Since then, Nicky has moved forward with renewing six of his existing contracts.
